Nb 5.5 Preview (build 2006.02.01), jdk1.5.0_06 Steps: 1. Create new Enterprise application. 2. Create new servet and use package that contains a lot of chars. (type some long string there) "Created File" field changes with the package. If this field can't be displayed whole (cos it's too long) then comboboxes change their height.
I can't reproduce something similar. Do you mean "Web Application" in the first step and "servlet" in the second step? Moreover the textfield is enabled non-editable textfield, thus it does not mind how long text you put into it. Please if you still can reproduce, please elaborate a little (or attach screenshot) and reopen. Thanks.
Still reproducible... See attached pictures... Height of compoments in dialog is changed...
Reopen.

Yup, I see. Probably L&F specific. Can't reproduce with Ocean, but can similarly to XP screenshot with Substance. Petre could you affirm that this problem is reproducible with Package comboboxes in (almost) all wizards (e.g. new "Java Class")? Thanks. I believe that the culprit is in call JavaTemplates.createPackageChooser() which is part of java/project. Very likely JavaTargetChooserPanelGUI class.
Yes, it is reproducible for wizards containing Package comboboxes.
