Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 060207) Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 Java; VM; Vendor; Home = 1.5.0_06; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_06-b05; Sun Microsystems Inc.; d:\Java\jdk1.5.0_06 Steps: 1. Open versioned project. 2. Expand package nodes. Expanding of nodes causes considerable CPU consumption.
Maybe this problem is related with issue #72391. NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 060209) - expanding/collapsing of nodes doesn't make CPU consupmtion spotted in previous build.
moving show status labels to vcs should help...
Reproduced on 5.5 beta & Mustang b82 (WinXP Pro) In fact, full (in my case, 55% due to P4 HT) CPU consumption carries on for a period of time with svn.exe running in the background, which only takes at most 3% of CPU time.
Please verify, should be resolved due to other fixes.
Verified.
This is not fixed. Still got this problem with netbeans-6_0-daily-bin-200607021800-2_Jul_2006_1800.zip, JDK 6.0 Beta 2.
mmerged in to 6.0 was fixed in 5.5 and haven't been merged in 6.0 yet. sorry for the confusion...
