Steps: select a file and opt to see CVS->Search History. then click Diff button The "list" displaying all file revisions has 4 buttons (column headers): File Revision, Time, User, Message. But user cannot sort the list entries clicking on the column headers. That's a usability issue. Once there are many branches and versions, it is very difficult to find a particular version. I guess that this sorting is not supported because the 'File Revision' column shows a tree? Why tree is needed? It is OK only if there are few versions, but when there are too many, it is not useful. It would be much better if tree is gone and user can sort list entries by clicking any of the column headings.
Would it be enough for you if the columns were sortable but the view would still be categorized by files?
