This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
If anyone has read tutorials and/or documentation like mySQL's online docs, you'll notice at the end of each section readers can leave feedback. This would be nice addition to the Netbeans article pages. For instance, I would like to add comments on where to find information on using Netbeans to configure database connections and datasources, which is needed to complete http://www.netbeans.org/kb/articles/security-webapps.html Ruth Kusterer had suggested the following: "I'm not really happy with having (among a few other comments) page-long IDE wars and content spam under our tutorials... But I agree that we could consider creating a forum for such comments, and you could discuss info related to one tutorial in its forum thread..."
- The docs team has added feedback forms to every doc, and they respond to comments on a regular basis (since 2006 / NB 5.5). See also: http://usersguide.netbeans.org/servlets/ProjectMailingListList - We have http://forums.netbeans.org (implemented in 2008) - We might turn the docs feedback alias(es) into a forum on forum.netbeans.org in the near future
