reproducible 061005
it's a regression because it wasn't very visible with old overview system
issue also blockes 
but may be inner messages to seft aren't used often

steps:
open navigator (if not opened yet)
1. create sequence diagram
2. add lifeline
3. add message to self (it takes a bit more time comparing with closed navigator
environment)
4. add second message to self within first one
it takes several seconds with opened navigator and less than a second with closed
third message takes too much time to draw with navigator

others inner messages draws slowly too (but not so much), should I file a
separate issue?
we have issue on slow start of link any drawing, it's visible too but not the same.

.. and it takes a lot to delete three "nested" message to self with opened
navigator (CTRL+A on diagram and delete).

still reproducible with opened overview window, but it's not a regression and we
do not force users to use overview

Not as visible because the overview window is NOT a part of the navigator now,
and is not open all the time.

fixed with redesign, at least I can't reproduce on my quite fast system, currently in migration to trunk state

verified in build 20080728. there's no more overview window. and no problem with the navigator window.
