Have you saved those files ?

Also build number and JDK version would be welcome.

BTW: it works for me in NB dev (200610081800), JDK 6.0 (b99) - if the file is
saved, not if it isn't

The files were not saved.

The current search feature only searches content of files stored on the disk.

If some files are opened in the IDE and modified (unsaved), the search feature
should search their modified content, not the content saved on the disk.

This is a duplicate of issue #58484 ("Take files open in editor into account").

For your information: When using Search & Replace, all files are automatically saved (action Save All) before searching
starts.
