Use case - User selects an WS Activity (receive, reply, onmessage, invoke, etc). User sees that this has message flow(s). User wishes to understand what is the endpoint of this message flow (i.e. what is the partner and operation to which this is attached). Recommendation: On selection of the WS activity, the message flow(s) can be highlighted in order to help distinguish this message flow from other message flows in diagram. Issues and Questions: Maybe would be nice to have some shortcut to take you to the end of the message flow as well. Problem with this is that the message flows are not individually selectable so in case where there are > 1 message flow connected to single activity, it would not be possible to determine which flow to "follow".

The message links highlighting is alredy done. But it looks not very impressive. It maybe worth to draw such highlighted links with a bit different color but not only with thicker line. Also it would be very helpful to have an additional pup-up menu item for message related activities: Go to Partner Link. Such action should move selection to the related Partner Link. The action has to be disabled if the activity isn't linked to a Partner Link yet.
We should open new issue for Go To Partner Link feature action. I thought it was dicussed already. I'm trying to remember if there were objections or not. Perhaps there is concern of > 1 partner link being connected to same Web Service activity. If so then go to partner link is indeterminate.
1) Agree that the current bolding is not strong enough. We need help from HIE to come up with better line contrasts. 2) After discussion it was determined that a specific Go To Parnter Link action is not required. It should be part of the general Go To Definition feature that will be available for all references. See issue 89685.
Recommendation 1) is to make the connection line color the same as the color used for item selection (GREEN). Recommendation 2) Add context action "Scroll To Partner Link". This will scroll to make the Partner Link visible, but the WS Activity will remain selected.
1) Color was changed 2) Context menu action was added. Sometimes pattern can be connected with several partner links. In this case we add submenu "Scroll To Partner Link" in which user can choose to what partner link he want scroll.
Verified the feature is in Gavotte daily build 070212_24
