I think it's not good idea to throw exception if the date value is incorrect. In this case it will be better to inform user about incorrect date value with message. Steps to reproduce: - Create CalendarServer and CalendarClient sample projects. - Deploy CalendarServer project. - Run CalendarClient project. - When CalendarClient servlet running set some incorrect value to data field. - Push 'Get events' button. - Following exception occurs: java.io.IOException: JAXRPC.TIE.04: Internal Server Error (JAXRPCTIE01: caught exception while handling request: java.rmi.RemoteException: Unparseable date: "incorrect value")
