Description bugbridge 2007-01-24 20:20:13 UTC
Original status: 3-Accepted; Suggested Status: NEW

Original Target Release: shortfin_dev; Suggested Target Milestone : 5.5

Description:
Right now when the user creates a new clip via context menu on the palette
background the clip receives a default name. The user must first create the
clip content, submit the dialog, and then use a context menu to rename the clip.
That's ok since it parallels drag creation of clips, but it would be handy to
allow the clip name to be specified in the new clip dialog. Fewer user steps
and dialogs.

Evaluation:
Assigning to palette (assuming there is the clip creation implemented).
