Description bugbridge 2007-02-02 20:49:10 UTC
Original status: 3-Accepted; Suggested Status: NEW

Original submitter: sakthivelg

Description:
Shortfin TP RC5

+ Create new VWP project
+ Create a vanilla/non-VWP/NB Web App
+ Open index.jsp from the nb webapp, outline still shows
Page1, Requestbean1, SessionBean1, ApplicationBean1

Evaluation:
Outline always shows the last selected designer. Switching to index.jsp doesn't
do any change request. Please close as 'not a defect'.

Evaluation (Entry 2):
Hmm... This then works per the design.
But then this is an inccorrect behavior.

Requesting HIE/Dusan to confirm that this is an accepatble behavior.

Dusan : Does this make sense to you??

Thanks,
Sakthi

Evaluation (Entry 3):
When NB webapp file is opened and active in the editor, then there shouldn't be
visible the "old" content related to the VWP file. Message similar to the
message in the Navigator could appear. It means <No View Available> gray text in
the center of the Outline window area. I would call this usability improvement
rather then critical defect.

Evaluation (Entry 4):
Based on dusan's comments, i have changed this bug to an RFE and the status to
accepted.
