Description kimsp 2007-02-06 10:30:13 UTC
When making a GUI in the desing view you have the option to change the variable
name by rightclicking it and choosing "Change Variable Name". This is often
handy as the IDE pr. default names the GUI components e.g. jSpinner1, jSpinner2 etc.

However, if you have used changed the GUI in the Code view and in that view have
used the component you now want to change the name of, the refactoring does not
work. It only changes the name in the IDE maintained code. Not in your code.

This is a known limitation. See issue 48288. We're planning to fix it.
