The URL above shows a default server msg ("Your server is up and running!"). 
Ideally, that is where the plugin portal should live - shorter, nicer URL.  A
redirect would work, but why not have it *really* there ?

This enhancement has really been done.  There is now a forward to the plugin
portal application.  There are some complaints that even the 0 second forward
takes too long so please reopen this if you think the current solution is not
optimal.

Well my suggestion was slightly different - the content should live at "/", not
"PluginPortal/".  There is nothing else on the host, nor should there be, so why
not put it at the root ?  It makes for shorter, neater URLs.

I do think the redirect is pretty clunky - I would definitely vote for some
other soloution if possible.  Displaying the "server up" msg first seems pretty
unprofessional.
