on visual designer pane, click on a component item and there is a menu called New/Add - with submenu of components or on device screen similar menu -- and for each section of component listings is word New or Add, and its in a smaller font. Normally this would be ok, but for unix, the chinese fonts at smaller than 14pt are not as ok a quality, and that is why localized zh ide hardcodes global font size to 14. But having a font smaller than that means the font wont be seen as well. It might be ok since this is just 2 items on a menu, but since we have had issues on this kind of situation before in other parts of ide, wanted to note it in an issue.
fixed. Fonts should have right size.
please, set up the target milestone next time
sorry Lukas ;)
using 0714 build, it does not appear fixed - did the fix go in on 7/10 ? ken.frank@sun.com
Created attachment 45831 [details] screenshot for better understanding WHAT is smaller
I'm using 07/22 build in Japanese locale and the submenu headines are still smaller - see screenshot. -> Reopening
Fixed, now fonts have default size.
This can be verified but please read below first: I noticed that words MIDlet or Commands on the design pane also at smaller font size - see gif in this issue for word Commands - should all such words/labels also be put to same font size as per this fix ? If so, should new issue be opened or this one reopened ? ken.frank@sun.com
Not all fonts should have same size and it depends. Please be more descriptive or attache screenshoot of mentioned issue, thanks.
Yes, the font sizes of categories in "flow" view is an another issue. Therefore, please, create a new issue.
