Description steve_taylor 2007-10-10 08:56:03 UTC
Netbeans 6.0 beta 1.

Sometimes error detection will stop working for particular files in a project, while working for others. Sometimes it
works for some errors, but not for others. The most common example is that when "cannot find symbol" should be
displayed, the symbol is just shown in italics; also, in this case the file is littered with "class, interface, or enum
expected" errors.

I don't know what causes this, so I cannot reliably reproduce it. Although I've seen this happen from time to time in
various versions from netbeans 5.0.

Hmm, it is hard to tell where the problem is without reproducible scenario or setting...

Steve, do you have any new experience with this problem since the original post? Does it persist in latest version?
Anything you can figure out could help...

Thank you

No response for a long time -> closing as invalid

Please reopen if it happens also in newer build (6.5 beta of newer)
