When user open dialog for opening files (somewhere in IDE) must be a possibility to hide dot folders
Platform : linux (I can't find this platform in combobox :( )
well, dirchooser (which is used for opening project, ...) does not show dot folders. But ordinary jfilechooser does not have this possibility out of box AFAIK.
This is indeed very annoying. Especially in combination with this painting bug where everything gets distorted when scrolling the file list -- and you HAVE TO scroll when it shows thousands of dot files and folders first....
