Reproducible in a dev build.

Looks like some issue in editor. ColorModel.Preview.setParemeters () sets correct values to the editor. Anyway preview
is not a crucial feature - p4.

- I'm not that sure that this is only P4. Users don't know that the problem only affects the preview component. They
will think that the whole fonts & colors customization is broken.

- It could be something in settings.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200803021202)
Java: 1.5.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_13-b05
System: SunOS version 5.10 running on x86; UTF-8; cs_CZ (nb)

If you go to the "fonts and settings" and if you try to change the profile in the Profile combo-box (see the top of the
screen shot from lhasik) to "City lights", it appears that the background of this profile is white. If you confirm the
dialog, the background of the editor turns to black.

This is very confusing - I have seen this configuration dialog for the first time and the only think I paid attention to
was the preview, not the small boxes with the colors on the right. It would be maybe better for me if the preview was
not there at all or if it was much smaller, not the most dominant element in the dialog.

Hanzi, you must be joking to evaluate this as P4. This is a feature regression against previous versions of NetBeans.
People who do presentations of NetBeans need to change the font size often in front of the audience. It really does not
give a good impression about quality of NetBeans - that the preview doesn't reflect changes in font sizes or color schemes.

I've seen quite a bit of other P4 bugs in the options dialog in the past. Normally I wouldn't say that is a big deal
except that in the options dialog pretty much everything is "cosmetic" so it falls into the P4 category and as a result
a lot of bugs go unfixed for a longer time than they would in other modules.

I would humbly suggest that even if a bug is cosmetic it should be fixed within a year of being filed if it is easy to
reproduce and occurs in a common use-case. I am a bit biased in the sense that I filed Issue 79080, but I believe it is
similar in that it is a cosmetic problem that users are likely to run across on a regular basis. It is annoying to
constantly run across these bugs and have them unfixed for a long time.
