A fellow OS/2 user recently pointed out there is no way to update his OS/2 startup script without downloading the entire distribution (23MB). Is this OS/2 specific or do all other platforms support from the same inability? Can we add this "feature" into the Auto-Update module? Thanks, Gili
Ales, you are working on something like this fro 4.0, am I right?
I thought it's possible on Unix to replace running script. Could you please confirm it? Just add changed netbeans/bin/runide.sh to some nbm, run AU, install it manually, restart, shutdown IDE. If script is changed, everything is OK. Thanks. If it doesn't work, I'll mark it as duplicate: there is already filled ENHANCEMET #24361 (Overwrite launcher files on Windows)
